Roman or Hook Up Blinds? Which is best for me?

Both types of blind are made in very similar ways.  Both have a facing fabric of choice, are hand lined with a blackout lining, which contains supporting rods to allow the blinds to be raised.  Attached to the aluminium bar in the bottom of the blind are magnets, allowing the blind to be held in place against the side of the boat when lowered.

Roman Blinds are attached by means of a header rail, which contains cords that run along the back of the blind and are raised by chain.  Hook up blinds have a much simpler (and therefore cheaper) method of hanging and simply hook up onto eyelet hooks above the window.  No cords, no chains, nothing get tangled or full of spiders webs!
