Policies at The Crafty Floater

We offer a number of shipping options at The Crafty Floater, giving our customers choice about how and when they receive their order.  We totally understand the frustrations of having no fixed address and are able to mail to c/o addresses, Post Restante or family members.  Of course if you are in the area you are more than welcome to pop in and have a coffee with a Lunatic! 

Not Happy With Your Order?

We want all of our customers to be 100% happy with their purchases, however all our items are made by humans and mistakes do occur.  

• All of our goods are made to order, to the customers specifications, therefore we are unable to offer a refund if the customer simply changes their mind.  

• If there has been an error on our part we are more than happy to replace it free of charge within 2-3 weeks.  

• If however a customer has ordered the incorrect product, the wrong colour or design of fabric, or given incorrect measurements then Im afraid we are not able to refund, but are happy to give a 25% discount on a replacement item.

• If goods are found to be faulty upon receipt please provide photographic evidence within 24 hours of receipt of both the defect and the packaging that it arrived in.  This will enable us to claim against the delivery service and refund you if requested.

• If a refund is agreed before the seller and the purchaser, it will only be processed once the faulty goods have been returned to The Crafty Floater, along with the original packaging.  We are unable to refund any items that have not been returned.  Please remember to obtain proof of posting if you need to send something back to us.

• Orders will not be dispatched until they are paid for in full.

The Crafty Floater uses quality products from renowned suppliers, offering our customers quality for an affordable price.

• Purchasers are advised to check the full listing when purchasing a product.  The listing gives essential details of the characteristics of the fabrics, such as composition, pattern repeat and care instructions.

• All our Porthole Bungs are fitted with a zip, but not always washable.  Please check the care instructions shown on the listing.

• Some of our products contain metal, which can become sharp if stressed or bent.  Please exercise caution and dispose of any items that have become damaged over time.

• Blinds containing magnets should be removed from the boat periodically and both the boat and metal inspected for damage.  Remove the item if the metal is showing signs of fatigue, including coming loose from the binding.

• Handle magnets with care and keep out of the reach of pets and children.

• The fabric colours may vary slightly from those shown, due to the resolution of your screen.  If a colour match is essential please contact us for a fabric sample.
